Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) - An independent statutory authority that will improve the learning of all young Australians through world-class school curriculum, assessment and reporting.
Australian Curriculum - Sets the expectations for what all young Australians should be taught, regardless of where they live in Australia or their background. It is managed by ACARA.
National Assessment Program - Run at the direction of the Education Council. It includes the National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN), the three-yearly sample assessments in science literacy, civics and citizenship, and information and communication technology (ICT) literacy, and participation in international sample assessments. It is managed by ACARA.
Department of Education and Training - Federal Government Department responsible for national policies and programs that help Australians access quality and affordable early child care and childhood education, school education, higher education, vocational education and training, international education and research.
Department of Education Queensland - Queensland Government Department responsible for Education in Queensland. The current minister for Education is Hon Grace Grace MP and the Director-General is Tony Cook PSM
Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority - QCAA is a statutory body of the Queensland Government and plays a critical role in the design and delivery of education in Queensland.
Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority - Works with all governments to provide guidance, resources and services to support the sector to improve outcomes for children. They manage a national register for approved education and care services and providers. Use this Queensland link for approved Centre-Based Care and Family Day Care in Queensland.

thinkuknow.co.uk - 4-7 year olds - 8-10 year olds - 11-13 year olds - 14+ year olds - Parents and Carers - Professionals - Thinkuknow is an education programme from the National Crime Agency’s CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection) Command in the United Kingdom.
thinkuknow.org.au - ThinkUKnow is a partnership between the Australian Federal Police, Commonwealth Bank, Microsoft and Datacom and delivered in partnership with all State and Territory police and Neighbourhood Watch Australasia. The cyber safety presentations sensitively cover a range of topics including sexting, cyber bullying, online child exploitation, online privacy, and importantly what to do when something goes wrong. Presentations are aimed at parents, carers and teachers and young people from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Children's Book Council of Australia - The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) is a not for profit, volunteer run organisation which aims to engage the community with literature for young Australians.
ABC Education - ABC Education brings you high-quality educational content to use at home and in the classroom. All our resources are free and mapped to the Australian Curriculum, covering English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, The Arts and Technologies, including STEM.
Five from Five - An initiative of the Centre for Independent Studies that aims to improve literacy levels by ensuring all children receive effective, evidence based reading instruction.
